KFS: work in progress
…Hello? Is anybody home?
First and foremost, I apologize for the radio silence. It is probably rude to leave a few of you in the dark about the state of smalltime video games on this funky corner of the web.
Despite a breif programming hiatus and a lot of busy real life situations, I’ve been in the works with a project that might come as surprise to you:
I made this message to announce that Knead For Speed has been in development for v001 for several months now (I forgot how many but it’s at least more than 4, lol). It’s since been rebuilt and updated to Godot 4, featuring various backend improvements, tighter controls, a few gameplay mechanic overhauls, and many cosmetic enhancements just to name a few! It’s got so many new features and many to come that it’ll feel like a completely different game (in a good way, I promise!).
I’m a bit fuzzy on an exact ETA at the moment but my goal is anytime before or at Christmas 2024.
In the meantime, please feel free to download and play the KFSv000 demo. This short proof-of-concept will be nothing like the next release, so have fun with it while you can!
